Roles and Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Data Programmer-Analyst to join our Monetization department.

As part of the game production team and working under the supervision of the Product Manager, the Lead Data Analyst and the Director of Monetization, the successful candidate will work closely with relevant parties to collect, clean, analyze and automate the data exploitation process. The candidate will have to model, predict and segment vast amounts of data from our customers. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with an international team of data experts, share their knowledge, and contribute to improving the skills of the technical data team.

From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:
• Proactively developing new technical processes to optimize data exploitation
• Proactively developing new insights and types of analyses to drive decisions and strategies for user acquisition, retention and monetization
• Adapting existing internal models or developing new and complex machine-learning models for the prediction and classification of key Gameloft metrics
• Participating in the growth of Gameloft’s institutional knowledge by engaging in fundamental and applied research on key data-science concepts
• Creating extensive systematic reports (and other types) using large datasets

Skills and Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business intelligence, economics, engineering or another technical field is required (Master's degree is an asset)
• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist or data engineer
• Passion for data exploration
• Excellent programming skills: Experience with Python is mandatory, experience with C and C++ is an asset
• Excellent database (SQL, NoSQL) skills: extensive experience querying large, complex datasets
• Relevant experience in connecting different and complex environments
• Relevant experience performing quantitative analysis, preferably for an e-commerce, Internet, or technology company
• Thorough knowledge of advanced statistical methods
• Thorough knowledge of machine-learning techniques and related Python libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Experience with Tableau is an asset
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
• Ability to work on multi-disciplinary teams (technical and non-technical)
• Autonomy and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoy working in both individual and team settings
• Proactive, with well-developed problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency in English is required (written and spoken)
• Keen interest in video games
