Roles and Responsibilities

As part of the Marketing department and working in close collaboration with the production, monetization and user acquisition teams, the Marketing Product Manager will manage, launch, promote and sustain a portfolio of social free-to-play games throughout the games' entire lifespans. This position is located at our Montreal production studio, but the selected candidate will also work and coordinate with our international teams, including but not limited to local marketing and PR managers, web development teams, video production teams, artists, community managers and customer care managers.

From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:
•Product Marketing
•Identifying the game’s target audience, positioning, values, and selling points
•Creating the brand identity: title, packaging, and storytelling related to a game’s plot and characters
•Conducting market research, benchmarking, polls and consumer studies
•Keeping up with the game-development stages and making recommendations to improve user experience, involvement, socialization and retention
•Coordinating game approval with copyright owners (Universal, Sony Pictures, Ubisoft, Marvel, etc.)
•Managing a marketing calendar based on game updates and promotions; overseeing related announcements, merchandising, and community management
•Optimizing page performance and visibility on the app stores
•Coordinating community management and customer care activities/messaging, as well as defining game-specific customer-care policies, when needed

Skills and Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Marketing
•3 to 5 years of experience in Marketing, ideally in a similar role
•At least 1 to 2 years’ experience in the video game or entertainment industry
•Knowledge of, and passion for, video games—from hardcore gaming titles to casual social games—and entertainment in general
•Strong analytical skills and thoroughness
•A creative spirit that allows you to develop innovative, results-oriented marketing programs
•Strong leadership skills
•Good communication skills, and fluency in French with an excellent grasp of the English language
•Able to work with a wide range of profiles (business, game design, analysts, etc.)
