Description du rôle et des responsabilités

As the lead character artist, you will manage the development of quality models and establish a fitting workflow respectively to the schedule. You will monitor the progress of the team’s tasks, and act as the primary guide and mentor for quality asset production. You will provide progress reports of the Team to your respective director(s) in Japan and facilitate communication with other Teams to ensure assets are completed as specified.

- Provide feedback and communicate the artistic direction to the team
- Report the team progress to the director(s) in Japan
- Discuss with the team in Japan to propose alternative methods of production, tools, etc. to overall improve the development workflow
- Occasionally create 3D models, including characters, machinery, weapons, etc.

Profil recherché (exigences et formation)

- More than 7 years of game development experience as well as some experience in a lead position and or at least several games shipped
- In depth knowledge of/experience in 3ds Max, Maya, ZBrush, Substance (Painter and Designer)
- Good communication and teamwork
- Ability to objectively evaluate the work of others and give constructive feedback
- Ability to fully understand, recreate, and communicate a given artistic direction
- Knowledge in Japanese is a plus
